Loneliness

(Pocket Poetry)
by Skyburner

(Australia)

In shadows deep, where silence reigns, loneliness whispers, soft refrains. A solitary figure, lost in thought, in the labyrinth of solitude, caught.

Echoes bounce off empty walls, in the emptiness, the heart calls. Aching for connection, yearning for touch, in the vast expanse, feeling as such. Stars above, distant and cold, Mirror the loneliness, untold.

Yet in this solitude, a seed may grow, a resilience born from depths below. For in the quiet, truths are found, in loneliness, strength is bound.

And though the night may seem too long, with each dawn, hope’s sweet song.
